After work I went and bought 12 movies. Including Sin City. And The Jacket, finally. Mm. I have one fucking expensive habit. I think I might take up heroin. It would be cheaper.

I forgot I was going to write about my dream the other night. The first part of it was a dream I have had in the past, where I get to Phoenix (and it looks totally different) and I figure out how to get to Sally's house. (Which isn't her actual house either). So that part was mostly the same, except I somehow got to Sally's house with Indigo. She was busy, and Dan was home playing a video game I think. (Oh, and the house was like a huge ass mansion). So me and Indigo waited in some big room for Sally. We were there because Sally was leaving for Florida the next day, and we were saying bye. (I guess I flew down there just to do that). So we were waiting in this large room, and all of a sudden there was music. Or maybe we put the music on, I don't remember. Now I am having a flash of a record player, so maybe we put a record on. Anyway, we danced while we waited. It was quite odd, we twirled each other. Oh I love twirling. So anyway, Sally eventually came to see us, from whatever she was doing. Indigo said bye first, then she left because it was sad. (I am SO sorry if anyone reads this and gets sad because I know you will be saying bye soon. But don't worry, I am going to say something that will probably make you laugh at me. Good times.) Yes, so she left to go wait in the car. Then I was saying bye to her, kind of at the door, and we hugged, blah blah, and then I grabbed her head/face and kissed her and said, "I have always wanted to do that." I don't really know what happened right after that. I know I didn't get slapped, though. Which was good. Well it's not like I would have felt it. Anyway, I think she left and went back upstairs, I don't know. But then I didn't leave. I stayed there, and I think Indigo left. Then all I remember is just sitting in a room, and then Dan coming to get me to say that someone called for me. It was all quite odd. But then again, that is what dreams are all about. Oddness.

Mary-Louise Parker is today's topic. I am sure she has been the topic of the day more than once for me. I was just thinking that she has been the object of affection for a few lesbians. First, on Boys On The Side, Whoopi Goldberg's character is so in love with her. And really, who wouldn't be? Second, Mary Stuart Masterson's character in Fried Green Tomatoes is head over heels in love with her. Ever since she was like 7. I mean, come on, she stuck her hand up a bee hive to bring the girl honey! She was COMPLETELY in love with her. Oh that was so incredibly sweet. I am teary. I am such a girl. I swear to god, I am the girliest girl inside. No one will even begin to know. I am also very "gay guy" inside. Mostly because of the being in love with Barbra thing. I am getting away from my Mary-Louise Parker-ing. Yeah that's right. Lastly, the BIGGEST instance of a lesbian being in love with the "very- unavailable-to-her" Ms. Parker is me. Bet you saw that coming.
Someday I will stick my hand up a bee hive to get that woman some honey.
Watch Weeds.

So the show 'Weeds' finally started the other day. I have been eagerly looking forward to this show for a while. Mary-Louise Parker is just one of the most fabulous actresses to grace us with her talent on television and in movies. And this show... well it is just marvelous. Her character, a widowed suburban pot-selling mother of 2 boys, is just so fucking great. The show is just an amazing breath of freash air. The interaction she has with her boys, one 15 and one 10, is perfect. She is just a fucking great character, doing things like talking to her son's girlfriend about them being able to have sex in her house, and telling her 10 year old that a soccer team mate of his is a fuckwad, but says herself she is so naive and has no idea what she is doing. And her interaction with Elizabeth Perkin's character is just brilliant. Those 2 are so great together, great chemistry. They seem to just bounce off each other, it is a gift to watch.
This is what television is all about folks. To all those fuckers who think that television is crap and that people should read every book ever written instead, like that is somehow more meaningful, well to those people, this show is a great little "Fuck you."

Stacy Ferguson, also know as Fergie (from the Black Eyed Peas) was on an episode of 'California Dreams' in 1995.
Even cooler.. she was on an episode of 'Married With Children' in 1994.
Even COOLER.. she was on an episode of 'Mr. Belvedere' in 1986.

Waking up to the sound of a fucking car alarm: Bad.
Waking up and seeing Rachel Weisz's face on my television screen (Because I fell asleep watching 'Beautiful Creatures' and it went back to the menu which has her on it): Good.
Turning on my computer and seeing that the 'Veronica Mars' episodes I was downloading are done: Good.
Restarting my computer and then having WeatherBug unleash about 100 update installations on my ass: Bad.
Going to get the mail and having the dvds I ordered arrive: Good.
Opening up the dvd package and realizing one of them is the wrong version: Bad.
Getting my credit card bill: Bad.
Realizing I already paid my credit card bill: Good.
Seeing that my new TV Guide has Evangeline Lilly on the front: Very good.
Opening it up, turning to the Annual Reader's Poll, and having to look at David Caruso's face above the sentence 'Sexiest Male': Bad.

I was just driving back from Safeway, and I was behind this one car for most of it. It was fine, blah blah, stopped at a red light, blah blah. Then soon after that intersection, they just wander on over to the left side of the road, where they decide that this is the place they want to drive for the rest of their journey.
